We have two exciting new trips to share with you as well as two solo traveler trips to offer you for 2009! Our signature new tour is a top 10 event for the Vermont Chamber of Commerce this summer and consists of an 10-day trip from Vermont to Quebec City to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Lake Champlain. A new winter trip in Vermont features snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding and a sleigh ride.  Solo traveler trips will be offered in Sonoma and Acadia.  These trips are geared toward singles and friends traveling together, and offer opportunity to connect with other like-minded people who aren't traveling with a spouse or partner.

Spring and summer bring a new specialty tour in conjunction with the State of Vermont's Celebrate Champlain festivities.  2009 marks the 400th anniversary of French explorer Samuel de Champlain's discovery of the lake that bears his name.  We will offer two, 10-day trips from the Basin Harbor Club in Vermont to Quebec City.  Our route follows the lakeshore north through the Champlain Islands then along the Richelieu and St. Lawrence Rivers to Quebec City.  There will be one layover days en route and the trip will conclude with three nights in the heart of old Quebec City.  Historians and naturalists will join the group for informative discussions several times throughout the trip.  Only two departures: June 28 and August 30. 

Due to popular demand, we will offer two solo/single traveler trips this season.  One trip will take place in Acadia from August 16-21 and the other in Sonoma from September 20-25.  The trips are designed for people seeking to join other like-minded travelers who are vacationing on their own, with a friend, sibling or parent.  Naturally, solo travelers are welcome on any of our regular trips.
