Cancellations

Since this is a custom tour, there are some non-recoverable expenses we must pay the hotels in case of a cancellation. To account for this, here is the cancellation policy for this tour:

> 60 days prior to start date	full refund minus $50 per person
60-30 days prior	full refund minus $200 per person
< 30 days prior	no refund

Travel Insurance

With our busy and sometimes unpredictable lives, there's always a chance that we won't be able to take a planned vacation. Missing a vacation is bad enough, losing the money you spent on the vacation is worse. And our cancellation policy is strict: if you're forced to cancel within 30 days, you forfeit all the money you spent. That's why we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. For just a small percentage of the trip cost, you can get reimbursed if you can't take your scheduled trip. There's even an option that lets you cancel a trip for any reason, up to 48 hours prior to the the start date.

The company we recommend for travel insurance is TravelSafe Insurance. They have very competitive rates, they offer a "cancel for any reason" option (pays 75% of the trip cost), and you can purchase insurance easily online. To cover the cost of this tour, here is their online price quote for a 50-year-old person:
