Day 1, Saturday: Meet in Santa Barbara, Ride Paso Robles

We meet in the morning in Santa Barbara, at Pacifica Suites, conviently located near the Santa Barbara Airport. We will go over the details of the day, then shuttle to Paso Robles. We will do a ride that starts and ends in Paso Robles. Dinner at a local restaurant in Paso Robles, lodging at the Paso Robles Inn.

Day 2, Sunday: Paso Robles to Cambria

Meet for breakfast at the Paso Robles Inn to go over day’s plans. Ride through the wine roads surrounding Paso Robles, then downhill to coastal town of Cambria. Lodging at the Burton Inn, dining at a local restaurant.

Day 3, Monday: Cambria to Avila Beach

Meet for breakfast at Burton Inn to go over days plans. Ride inland mountain roads from Cambria to Morro Bay, then to San Luis Obispo, then to Avila Beach. Lodging at the Avila La Fonda Hotel, one block from the beach. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4, Tuesday: Avila Beach to Santa Maria

Meet for breakfast at Avila La Fonda Hotel. Ride inland to San Luis Obispo, then through coastal horse country, rolling pastures and farms to Santa Maria. Lodging and dinner at the historic Santa Maria Inn.

Day 5, Wednesday: Santa Maria to Santa Ynez Valley

Meet for breakfast at the Santa Maria Inn. Ride through inland valleys and hills, into the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country, through the towns of Los Olivos and Solvang, to Santa Ynez. Dinner at a local restaurant, lodging at the Santa Ynez Inn, our hotel for two nights.

Day 6, Thursday: Santa Ynez Valley

Meet for breakfast at the Santa Ynez Inn. Several options for out and back routes today, or take a day off to explore Los Olivos and Solvang, do some wine tasting, or get a spa treatment at the Santa Ynez Inn. Dinner on your own. Lodging once again at the Santa Ynez Inn.

Day 7, Friday: Santa Ynez to Santa Barbara

Meet for breakfast at the Santa Ynez Inn. Ride Santa Ynez to Santa Barbara. Stay in Santa Barbara at the Upham Hotel.

Day 8, Saturday: Santa Barbara

Meet for breakfast at Upham Hotel. Take a scenic ride along the coast and through foothills of the Santa Barbara area. Conclusion of the tour in the early afternoon in Santa Barbara, at the Upham Hotel.
