Overview

An eight day tour through the California Central Coast region. Beginning with a van shuttle from Monterey, the bicycle route takes us through the Paso Robles Wine Country to the coastal town of Cambria, then through San Luis Obispo to Avila Beach, to Santa Maria, through the coastal valleys and hills to the Wine Country of the Santa Ynez Valley (made famous by the film Sideways). After three days of cycling the region around the Santa Ynez valley, we ride part of the way back to Paso Robles, then shuttle the last part back to town for our final night in Paso Robles. The next morning, after a ride through the vineyards, oaks, and cattle country surronding Paso Robles, we shuttle back to Monterey to complete our tour.
